Warranty Policy

At eScooter Global, we work with official brand partners to supply electric scooters, selected electric bikes, accessories and replacement parts. Products are dispatched directly from official brand warehouses, with manufacturer warranty support, parts and repairs provided through the relevant brand.

If you experience a problem with a product purchased from escooter-global.com, contact us first. We will help identify the issue and coordinate the appropriate support. Manufacturer warranties are additional to your statutory consumer rights and do not replace our responsibilities as the seller.

1. Manufacturer Warranty Terms

The manufacturer warranty period, start date, covered components and service arrangements vary by brand, model and component. A battery, motor, frame or accessory may have a different commercial warranty period from the rest of the product.

Please check the product page and the warranty information supplied for your purchase. If a detail is unclear or not listed, contact us before ordering. We can help confirm the applicable terms with the brand.

Keep your order confirmation and warranty documents. Any manufacturer registration requirements relate to its commercial warranty and do not remove your statutory rights.

2. What Manufacturer Warranties Cover

Manufacturer warranties generally cover defects in materials or workmanship under normal use, subject to the applicable brand terms. Depending on the product, coverage may include the frame, motor, controller, display, battery, charger or other original components.

The relevant brand assesses commercial warranty claims under the terms applicable to your purchase. If a commercial warranty does not cover an issue, we will still consider your statutory rights separately.

3. Wear, Maintenance and Damage

Depending on the applicable manufacturer terms, commercial warranty exclusions may include:

  • Normal wear of tyres, inner tubes, brake pads, grips, chains and similar consumable parts.
  • Routine servicing, adjustments and ordinary maintenance.
  • Damage caused by accidents, misuse, overloading or use outside the product’s intended purpose.
  • Damage caused by improper assembly, maintenance, storage or charging.
  • Damage caused by modifications, incompatible parts or repairs that caused the reported fault.
  • Liquid damage resulting from use beyond the product’s stated water-resistance limits.
  • Cosmetic damage caused during use, theft or loss.

A part being a consumable does not automatically exclude a manufacturing defect. These examples do not remove your rights concerning goods that were faulty, damaged or not as described when supplied. An unrelated modification or repair does not automatically cancel all your statutory rights.

4. Batteries and Chargers

Batteries and chargers may have separate manufacturer warranty terms. Normal gradual battery ageing differs from premature failure or a manufacturing defect, which should be reported for assessment.

Use the specified charger and follow the manufacturer’s charging, storage and maintenance instructions. If a battery is swollen, damaged or overheating, stop using and charging it and contact us for support. Do not open the battery or send it back without suitable return instructions.

5. How to Request Warranty Support

Email support@escooter-global.com or use our Contact Us page. To help us identify your purchase and investigate, please provide:

  • Your order number or other proof of purchase.
  • The brand, model and serial number, if available.
  • A description of the problem and when it started.
  • Relevant photos, videos or error codes, where available.
  • Your delivery country and contact details.

We may suggest safe troubleshooting steps or ask for further information. You do not need to dismantle the product or perform a repair beyond your ability to request support.

6. Repairs and Replacement Parts

Depending on the issue and applicable rights, support may involve troubleshooting, replacement parts, a repair or a replacement product. We will explain the proposed solution and coordinate service with the brand.

Part availability and delivery times vary. We will provide the available estimate for your case. Where consumer law requires a repair or replacement, it must be completed within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience. You are not required to accept repeated unsuccessful repairs where the law entitles you to another remedy.

7. Service and Shipping Costs

Where a repair or replacement is required under applicable consumer law, necessary parts, labour and transport will be provided without charge to you.

For services outside your statutory rights, costs depend on the applicable commercial warranty or paid service. Any assessment, parts, labour or shipping charges will be explained before you agree to a chargeable service. Please contact us before commissioning a third-party repair so we can discuss the arrangements and costs.

8. Returns for Inspection or Repair

Contact us before sending back a product or component so we can provide the correct service address, packaging guidance and transport arrangements. The destination may vary by brand and product; the original shipping label is not necessarily the correct return address.

This is a coordination procedure and does not make prior approval a condition of your statutory rights. For damaged, incorrect or incomplete deliveries, contact us promptly with any available photos. A short reporting request does not replace legal claim periods.

For cancellations, returns and refunds, read our Return & Refund Policy. For delivery information, see our Shipping Policy.

9. Accessories and Support After Warranty Expiry

Accessories and separately purchased replacement parts may have their own manufacturer warranty terms. They also retain applicable rights concerning faulty or misdescribed goods; our discretionary return restrictions do not remove those rights.

If your commercial warranty has expired, contact us to check whether a statutory remedy is still available. Where it is not, we can help enquire about compatible parts or paid repairs through the brand, subject to availability. We will explain any proposed costs before you proceed.

10. Your Statutory Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy excludes or restricts your statutory rights. You can raise a claim with eScooter Global as the seller without first pursuing the manufacturer.

For EU consumers, applicable law provides a minimum two-year legal guarantee for non-conforming goods from delivery, with longer protection in some countries. This is separate from any shorter manufacturer warranty. Remedies include free repair or replacement and, where the legal conditions are met, a price reduction or refund.

UK consumers have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including a short-term right to reject non-conforming goods, generally within 30 days, and further remedies subject to the applicable conditions. These rights may continue after a manufacturer warranty expires.

Applicable consumer law takes priority over conflicting manufacturer terms or warehouse procedures.
