Terms of Service

Last updated: [PUBLICATION DATE]

These Terms apply to purchases made through and use of escooter-global.com. Please read these Terms carefully before placing an order, together with our [Shipping Policy], [Return & Refund Policy], [Warranty Policy] and [Privacy Policy].

Nothing in these Terms affects your mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.

1. About Us

eScooter Global is operated by Guangxi Taiying Trading Co., Ltd., a company established in China.

In these Terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Guangxi Taiying Trading Co., Ltd., trading as eScooter Global.

Company information:

  • Registered/business address: [FULL COMPANY ADDRESS, INCLUDING COUNTRY]
  • Company registration number: [COMPANY REGISTRATION NUMBER]
  • Customer service email: support@escooter-global.com
  • Customer service telephone/WhatsApp: [NUMBER WITH COUNTRY CODE]

We operate an online retail store specialising in electric scooters, electric bikes, accessories and replacement parts.

We sell products from multiple recognised electric mobility brands through our authorised distribution relationships.

We are an authorised distributor and retailer for the brands and products displayed on our website. Products sold through eScooter Global are supplied through official brand distribution channels and authorised supply networks.

Electric scooters, electric bikes and related products may be fulfilled and dispatched from authorised manufacturer or brand warehouses located in the United Kingdom and Europe.

The use of authorised warehouse fulfilment does not affect our responsibilities as your seller, your purchase contract with us, or your statutory consumer rights.

We do not currently operate a walk-in retail shop. Our registered company address is not a return address. If you need to return a product, please contact us first so we can provide the correct return instructions and address according to your order and product.

2. Placing an Order

You must have the legal capacity to enter into a purchase contract and provide accurate billing, delivery and contact information.

An order becomes a binding contract between you and eScooter Global when we send you an order acceptance confirmation email. An automatic order acknowledgement only confirms that we have received your order and does not constitute acceptance.

Before accepting an order, we may decline it where:

  • the product is unavailable;
  • delivery cannot be arranged;
  • payment cannot be successfully processed;
  • there are reasonable concerns regarding fraud or misuse.

If we cannot accept your order, we will inform you and refund any payment already received.

You may contact us to request changes or cancellation of an order. If the product has already been dispatched, cancellation may no longer be possible, but your applicable cancellation and return rights remain available.

3. Products and Brand Information

We sell products from multiple electric scooter and electric bike brands through authorised distribution relationships.

Brand names, trademarks, logos and product images displayed on our website belong to their respective owners and are used for authorised product identification and sales purposes.

Before purchasing, customers should review product specifications, including:

  • model;
  • battery capacity;
  • motor power;
  • size;
  • compatibility;
  • intended use.

Published performance information, including range and speed, is based on manufacturer testing conditions. Actual performance may vary depending on rider weight, terrain, temperature, tyre pressure, riding mode and other factors.

These explanations do not limit your rights where products are faulty, unsafe, incorrect or do not match their description.

4. Prices and Payment

The price shown at checkout includes applicable taxes, delivery charges and payment details before you complete your purchase.

Accepted payment methods are displayed during checkout. Payment providers may apply their own terms, currency conversion rates or transaction fees.

Prices may change in the future, but any accepted order will remain subject to the price confirmed at the time of purchase.

We will never request your payment passwords, verification codes or security information by email, WhatsApp or other unofficial communication channels.

5. Shipping and Delivery

Products purchased through eScooter Global may be dispatched from authorised warehouses located in the United Kingdom and Europe.

Delivery times depend on:

  • product availability;
  • warehouse location;
  • destination;
  • courier arrangements.

Accessories, spare parts and different products within one order may be shipped separately.

For applicable destinations, free standard delivery may be available. Any delivery charges will be displayed before checkout.

Customers are not required to pay additional customs duties for deliveries arranged by us.

If your order is delayed, lost or damaged during delivery, please contact us. You are not required to resolve delivery issues directly with the courier.

Where we arrange delivery, risk of loss or damage remains with us until the product is physically received by you or your nominated recipient, as required by applicable law.

6. Cancellations, Returns and Refunds

Where statutory withdrawal rights apply to your purchase, you normally have 14 calendar days after receiving your order to notify us that you wish to cancel, followed by a further 14 days to return the goods.

Because we sell products from different brands and fulfilment locations, return addresses vary depending on the product purchased and the warehouse handling your order.

Before returning any product, you must contact our customer service team. We will provide the correct return instructions, including the appropriate return address and any required arrangements.

Returning products without contacting us first may result in delays or additional costs.

For change-of-mind returns, return shipping costs may be the responsibility of the customer where permitted by law and where this information was provided before purchase.

Your statutory rights regarding faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed goods are not affected.

Refund processing, product condition requirements and any lawful deductions are explained in our Return & Refund Policy.

7. Warranty and After-Sales Support

Warranty terms may vary depending on the brand, model and product component.

eScooter Global provides after-sales support and coordinates warranty assistance with the relevant manufacturer, authorised service centre or technical support team.

Depending on the product and issue, warranty services may include:

  • technical support;
  • troubleshooting;
  • replacement parts;
  • repair services;
  • replacement solutions where applicable.

Manufacturer involvement does not remove or limit your statutory rights against us as the seller.

If your product is faulty, damaged, incorrect or does not conform to the contract, please contact us directly. We will provide the appropriate solution required by applicable consumer law.

8. Safe and Lawful Use

Customers must follow manufacturer instructions regarding:

  • assembly;
  • charging;
  • maintenance;
  • storage;
  • safe operation.

Before using an electric scooter or electric bike, customers must check local laws regarding:

  • road use;
  • registration;
  • insurance;
  • age requirements;
  • safety equipment.

Availability for purchase does not guarantee that a product may legally be used on public roads.

In the UK, privately owned electric scooters generally cannot legally be used on public roads, pavements or cycle lanes, except within authorised rental schemes. They may be used on private land with the owner’s permission.

Rules may vary between different European countries.

9. Website Use and Intellectual Property

Website content, including text, images, graphics, trademarks and logos, belongs to eScooter Global or their respective owners.

You must not use this website for unlawful activities, fraud, unauthorised access, malicious software distribution or infringement of third-party rights.

Third-party payment providers, manufacturers and service providers may have their own terms and policies. Their involvement does not affect our responsibilities regarding your purchase.

10. Our Responsibility and Your Rights

We remain responsible for our obligations as the seller of products purchased through eScooter Global.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion is prohibited by law, including liability for fraud, death, personal injury caused by negligence or other mandatory legal responsibilities.

Mandatory consumer protections take priority over any conflicting terms.

11. Complaints, Applicable Law and Updates

If you have a complaint, please contact:

support@escooter-global.com

Please provide:

  • your order number;
  • product information;
  • details of your concern.

We will investigate and provide an appropriate response.

These Terms do not remove any mandatory consumer protections available under applicable law.

Although our company is established in China, customers may still benefit from mandatory consumer rights applicable to their country of residence where required by law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will only apply to future purchases and will not reduce rights relating to existing orders.

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
